What is a Pivot Point?

The definition of a “Pivot Point”  from physics is : the most important thing in a situation or system (etc), which other things depend on or are based on.  In this case that would be YOU.

Each time you come to class and learn something, it is up to you to apply yourself, practice what you learn and make it part of your life.  Only you can work to perfect what you learn through commitment, perseverance, self-control, discipline and dedication.  Through the application of these traits you develop a respect for your abilities and for others.  Mastering yourself and improving yourself is a mind-set totally dependent on you.

The logo of the two connecting P’s forms a variation of the infinity symbol as you constantly develop and maintain balance and equilibrium of the 5 tenants of Tae-Kwon-Do. You never stop learning in martial arts as in life, and you can always be better and this mind-set is meant to carry with you throughout your life, in and out of the Dojang infinitely.
